Therapeutic, quality essential oils are most well known for their ability to promote relaxation, but they are also powerful tools that enhance our psychology and balance our physiology. In fact, the aromatic and physical properties of essential oils have been clinically proven to effect emotions and cognition.
In this episode of the Essential Oil Revolution, we review how essential oils can support mental health. Not only am I grateful to bring more attention to this important topic, but I am also honored to be joined by one of the foremost and respected authorities in aromatherapy, Jade Shutes, to discuss it.
Jade is a world-renowned aromatherapy practitioner, researcher, and an international educator. She has been in the aromatherapy field for three decades and she is passionate about aromatics. Jade believes the sense of smell is one of the most powerful senses for healing the mind/body/psyche in this era of upheaval and change. She is best known for her balanced, progressive, holistic, and inspiring approach and teaching style.
During the show, Jade dives deep into how essential oils and aromatherapy can be used as an ally to benefit our mood, emotional balance, and brain health. They can be used to fill in the gaps to achieve a more holistic approach to our current mental health care treatment.
