Not every ache and pain require our undivided attention. Yet, when symptoms are consistent and troublesome, we become more intentional in finding out why. In this way, we can aim to address any deeper issue they may be signaling.
One of the hot topics I’ve been covering recently is headaches. I explained how getting to the root cause of chronic head pain is paramount in finding lasting relief and preventing further problems down the line. This holds true for any condition.
I next explored how essential oils can be used as a natural means to simultaneously address symptoms while restoring physiological, biological, and psychological balance. They can serve as a powerful ally to add to one’s wellness plan for any concern. Additionally, they offer side benefits in relieving other bodily and emotional woes.
For example, in a recent post, I discussed how peppermint oil has clinical evidence for easing headaches as it offers more than cerebral relief. It has research on soothing gut issues, boosting cognitive power, and assisting with memory. This is pertinent because digestive and brain issues can both be big contributors to many disease processes.
In my most recent article and video, I continue explaining how essential oils can be supportive to our health in a variety of ways. This time, I highlight lavender oil.
Topics include:
– An overview of the properties and actions of lavender essential oil
– How lavender essential oil affects the nervous system
– Studies on how lavender oil impacts stress and anxiety
– Clinical trials on the efficacy of lavender oil for migraines and headaches
Due to its synergy and multiple components, lavender can alleviate discomfort as it also aids the mind and body in a holistic manner.
