At the beginning of last year, I explored the concepts of health and wellness and how my viewpoint has expanded on them over the years. To me, health and wellness are comprehensive and dynamic concepts. They are inclusive of the body, mind, spirit, community, and socioeconomics. They are also personalized in that everyone’s goals for why they wish to achieve them are different.
In 2022, I asked you to ponder:
(a) What are your definitions of health and wellness?
(b) What purpose do you have in aiming to achieve them?
Now, it’s time to take stock.
I’m asking you to ask these same questions to yourself again.
Did you? Did they change?
After all, without knowing what drives you and what you feel is of value, why would you strive for and/or stick to “healthy habits?”
Heck, maybe it’s just not that significant to you. Well, then stop reading now.
Okay, you’re still here.
I think, then, that you agree that only with alignment with one’s truth can a true transformational and lasting change in health occur.
What is your reason on why you want to be healthy?
For some, achieving healthy harmony means they can feel unencumbered to enjoy their grandchildren?
For others, it’s to move through their life’s purpose with abundant energy and focus.
Maybe it’s both for you, or, is it something different?
Jot it down.
Then, read these article resources I’m providing to see if you gain some insight into how you can commit to more of your goals for healthy habits in 2023.
Don’t worry.
It’s not the same ol’ diet culture diatribe of guilting you into eating “better” and “exercising more.”
Rather, it’s what I feel is some of the most crucial information to arm yourself with into 2023 and what has provided benefits to myself and my clients, all available here. (Starting January 2, 2023)
