Living daily life with high levels of uncertainty and chronic stress is something that is effecting all people on a global scale. (source) I have seen this firsthand with my naturopathic clients. They are reporting feeling more fatigued from everyday activities and overall being “emotionally spent.” Based on current statistics, it appears they are in good company. Most individuals are reporting higher levels of depression, anxiety, and poor sleep quality.
Long term, the impact of the current crisis has the potential to negatively imprint the brain for trauma. To prevent this, we need to be very mindful of our mental and emotional health. This is why I have been very focused on providing information on the importance of our mindset and using tools that support the mind, body, and spirit.
My go-to intervention for assisting my naturopathic clients in times of chronic stress, grief, and uncertainty is essential oils.
In my latest post, I highlight three essential oils blends that are specific for promoting grounding and courage, staying committed to our vision, and enhancing the mind-body-spirit connection. All of these blends support brain and mental health.
