Back to school can bring about jitters and the need for a boost in brain power. In my latest post, I discuss several of my favorite back-to-school essential oils. I highlight lavender, citrus oils, and peppermint. These oils are perfect backpack companions for calming, focus, attention, and enhanced performance.
I also discuss the difference between being “stressed out”, “overwhelmed,” and having an anxiety disorder. Many aren’t aware that there are validated brain imbalances that make transitions more difficult in those with a mental illness. Thankfully, there are several essential oils that have been shown to modulate nervous system tone in relation to this mood imbalance, including neroli oil.
