My CBD (cannabidiol) oil series is coming to a close with the release of the final articles that review the current and most pertinent research. Although many wanted the “bottom line” of the evidence on CBD oil for various conditions upfront, I felt it was first necessary to provide a comprehensive understanding of this “miracle elixir.”
This led to a complex discussion on many subtopics related to CBD oil. These included its precautions, legal restrictions, indications, actions and influence of the compounds in cannabis on the endocannabinoid system, and the “entourage effect” of all the cannabinoids. The summary videos and links to the accompanying articles and resources on these factors can be found here.
In my latest blog, I point out the importance of considering the many aspects that influence any health modality and how these specifically apply to cannabis compounds and CBD. I also give a sneak peek into the research on CBD in this primer to understanding its applications. You can read it here.
