That&#8217;s what I have always referred to when talking about trees after they have lost their leaves. There&#8217;s no denying the beauty of foliage and all that it signifies&#8230;springtime, birds, sunshine, vibrancy, etc&#8230;everything I love (I am very much a summertime person), but I have always been completely fascinated by the beauty of the &#8220;naked&#8221; trees and the shapes and randomness of the the limbs and branches that become visible once the leaves have fallen. For years, I even had a photo that I had taken and had matted and framed, hanging in my family room in Burnt Hills, of a completely dead tree on VanVorst Road that I just thought was so beautiful. The tree was taken down years ago, but I had that photo up forever.<\/div>\n<div>Naked treetops are even MORE interesting and beautiful when covered in snow. Now they are just lacy and spectacular! <\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_0325.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/frozen-moments\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2015\/01\/dsc_0325.jpg\" width=\"293\" height=\"440\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/div>\n<div>I attended a Christmas party at the Auto Museum last month and, as I was leaving, I noticed how gorgeous all of the trees in the parking lot looked with the lights shining down through the snowy branches. It was really magical out there. So, I ran back to the car, grabbed my camera and started taking photos.<\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_0338.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/frozen-moments\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2015\/01\/dsc_0338.jpg\" width=\"293\" height=\"440\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/div>\n<div>I started walking toward the Hall of Springs, snapping away as I went&#8230;<\/div>\n<div>It was a special night and a beautiful walk, and those lacy, snowy, naked trees played a huge role in the beauty of the night.<\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_0314a.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/frozen-moments\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2015\/01\/dsc_0314a.jpg\" width=\"293\" height=\"440\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_0321a.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saratoga.com\/frozen-moments\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2015\/01\/dsc_0321a.jpg\" width=\"293\" height=\"440\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kind of a strange title, I know, but I bet it caught your attention.
