I stopped by the track this afternoon for the first time this year to meet some friends and to check out the 24th Annual Hat Contest. It is always so much fun…between the creative, the glamorous, the adorable and the just plain fun hats.
I made a quick (well, not so quick) stop at the HatSensational booth and tried on a ton of gorgeous hats…leaving me with the desire to buy one of each. Luckily, or not so luckily for me, I had chosen to leave my credit cards at home to keep me from making any unplanned purchases. Of course, I came to regret that decision as I left the beautiful hats behind.
I took a lot of photos and, even then, I did not manage to get all of them as I had to leave early, but I did have a chance to meet many of these beautiful, creative men and women. For those that I missed, I apologize, but there were so many people there taking photos that I’m sure everyone will have their picture posted somewhere!
Pictured above is Julie Potter, first place winner of the Uniquely Saratoga hat. She was hilarious…constantly surrounded by throngs of people wanting to take her picture, and so relaxed about the fact that she was wearing a GIANT hat on her head. Definitely a unique and creative winner!
This gorgeous hat was worn by Kim Nikolaus who walked away the winner of the Fashionably Saratoga category.
I will share several more photos here, but since I have so many, I will also share everything in an album on my FB page, which will additionally make it easy for anyone wanting to share any of the photos. The link to the Frozen Moments FB page is:
