Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! As anyone who follows the Frozen Moments Facebook page knows, I went out ridiculously early yesterday morning to photograph what I hoped would be lots of great reflections of all the rain on the streets of Broadway before the sun came up. I got a bunch of really fun photos that I love, and I intended for that to be my next post, but I woke up this Easter morning to sunshine, and I actually HEARD the birds outside, and I decided I would write up a quick post and just share some bright, beautiful springtime flowers. So, here they are:

I hope everyone enjoys a beautiful holiday today, whether you are with family or friends, eating out, or cooking at home. Myself, I am spending the afternoon with my family…heading downtown for a nice dinner together. Always a good time. Happy Easter with love!

Having lived most of her life in the neighboring town of Burnt Hills, NY, Gail was privileged to have grown up on the outskirts of the Saratoga area...visiting the track, picnicking at the State Park with her parents and family, enjoying concerts and the ballet at SPAC, swimming, shopping, and enjoying the nightlife on a regular basis throughout the years. Her children were also raised in Burnt Hills and enjoyed the same Saratoga pastimes. In January of 2014, Gail sold her home of 29 years, headed 22 miles north, and planted herself solidly in the the heart of Saratoga, the area she has loved for a lifetime. An avid photography enthusiast, she now finds herself surrounded by the beauty, history and magic that is Saratoga...all just begging to be photographed and shared.

"It's one thing to have spent my life enjoying Saratoga as a neighboring visitor, but it's a whole new ball game now that I'm actually in the heart of things," she explains. "I am now only minutes away from Yaddo, the racetrack and downtown. The longer I am here, the more I am learning about the history and tourism of this amazing city." Join Gail as she sets out with her camera in hand and explores, photographs and shares her discoveries, both in Saratoga and in the surrounding areas. See the beauty through her eyes and through her lens, and read as she chronicles her discoveries, and shares her thoughts and impressions. As she sees it, "There's so much beauty here and it's always an adventure!"
