Ellms Family Farm is the perfect destination for fall fun, with new activities and classic favorites that make every visit memorable.

This kid-friendly, family-owned Ballston Spa Farm is now open for the 2024 season through October 27. Keep reading to get the latest on their newest attractions!

Penny’s Pig Racers: Race to Fun

Get ready to put the pedal to the metal with Penny’s Pig Racers, the farm’s latest thrill. This self-propelled racetrack promises excitement as you race your friends down the track. 

With no big bad wolf to worry about, just pure racing fun, it’s a perfect activity for those looking to add a bit of friendly competition to their visit.

Pott’s Playhouses: Play and Explore

Step back in time and enjoy Pott’s Playhouses, a fantastic new play area featuring restored 1950s grain trucks. Kids can climb, slide, and explore through a mix of tunnel slides and avalanche slides. 

The indoor and outdoor play areas make it a great spot for children to let their imaginations run wild.

Hedge Maze Event Space: Celebrate in Style

For those looking to host a special event, the new Hedge Maze Event Space offers a unique and picturesque setting. 

Nestled within the Christmas tree hedge maze, this space features six picnic tables and two eight-foot tables, making it ideal for birthday parties, company outings, and other celebrations.

All the Classic Attractions You Return for Each Year

In addition to the new attractions, Ellms Family Farm continues to feature its usual beloved activities!  

The corn maze provides a challenging adventure for all ages, while the Low Ropes Challenge and ziplines feature thrills for a little more adventure!

Families can also enjoy interacting with farm animals, mining for gemstones, or testing their aim with apple cannons.

The pumpkin patch is excellent for fall fun, and the MooMooChooChoo provides a whimsical ride for the little ones!

Note, a few attractions, like gemstone mining, are at an additional fee; most are included with your tickets.

Leaf No Fun Behind: Plan Your Fall Visit Now

Ellms Family Farm is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and Columbus Day from 10am to 6pm. 

Starting September 27, the farm will also be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am to 1pm. They close for the season after October 27, 2024.

Don’t forget to grab some cider donuts and check out all the other goodies in the Pumpkin Barn before you head home for a satisfying and tasty ending to your visit!

Pro Tip: Be sure to come back in the winter to pick out your Christmas tree.
