Apples are a huge industry in New York State - we're actually one of the top producers of the fruit in the country! Take the time this season to visit one of the local Saratoga area apple orchards and see what all the fuss is about.
Many apple orchards offer u-pick, allowing you to pick your own apples straight from the trees. Apple picking can be a wonderful fall tradition to start with your family, as everyone can join in. While at the orchard, grab some pies, produce, apple cider, and of course those delectable cider doughnuts.
If you're looking for a particular apple variety, please call ahead to make sure the orchard has that type. Apple crops vary from year to year, and apple varieties are only available for picking during certain periods.
