About this event
We'll read a few chapters of the book together and meet the main character, Scout, who is a dog up for adoption. He has the skills to be a search and rescue dog, but will he be able to find a home to reach his full potential? Then we'll meet handler Konnie Harrison and her German Shepherd therapy dog, Dakota. Every child receives a bookmark and a book to take home and keep reading. This program is for kids in grades K-4. Caregivers of Kindergartners must remain in the room. Caregivers of children Grades 1-4 must remain nearby. Limited to 12 participants. Please register online.
