About this event
We'll read a few chapters of the book together and meet the main character, Tag, a little owl who dreams of one day becoming a brave warrior. When the magical forest he lives in becomes threatened by dark magic, Tag gets his chance to save it with a little help from his friends, hawk and squirrel. Afterwards, Trish Marki of The Wildlife Institute of Eastern NY will introduce us to a real, live Northern Saw-Whet Owl, one of the smallest owl species in North America. Every child receives a bookmark and a book to take home and keep reading. This program is for kids in grades K-4. Caregivers of Kindergartners must remain in the room. Caregivers of children Grades 1-4 must remain nearby. Limited to 12 participants. Please register online.
