About this event
CJD ,aka Cruetzfeldt Jakob Disease, is a degenerative disease with no known treatment or cure. We Stride every year to raise funds for the CJD Foundation to assist and support families afflicted with CJD. Money also goes to research and has resulted in a trial drug available for the first time this year. A less invasive procedure for diagnosis has also become available. Money is used to educate the medical field as this disease is all too often misdiagnosed. Please join us to support this worthy cause , have fun with us and meet some really wonderful people! All our proceeds go to the Foundation and the event is volunteer organized and ran...and we all have lost our loved one. The Saratoa County community has been gracious with donations and we thank you all! So join us for refreshments, games, fun for children and the ceremonial walk around the track!
