About this event

Founded in 1988, the group has been redefining jazz vocals for over three decades. Comprised of musical director Darmon Meader, Peter Eldridge, Kim Nazarian and Lauren Kinhan, each member brings a unique voice and vision to the ensemble, creating a sound that is both sophisticated and dynamic.

Their latest album, “Reminiscing in Tempo,” showcases the group’s versatility and passion, featuring interpretations of jazz standards by legends like Duke Ellington and Chick Corea, alongside original compositions and inventive takes on classics by The Beatles and Ivan Lins. With collaborations spanning big band powerhouses like the WDR Big Band and the U.S. Army’s Jazz Ambassadors, New York Voices continues to explore the boundaries of vocal jazz while staying true to their roots.

Beyond recording, New York Voices are celebrated educators and ambassadors of jazz, inspiring the next generation through workshops and vocal jazz camps. Their dedication to both performance and education reflects their enduring commitment to the art form.

Join New York Voices for an unforgettable evening of rich harmonies, intricate arrangements, and masterful artistry.
