About this event

Effective instruction and inspiration for your meditation practice are provided, as well as connection with a supportive and welcoming community of meditators. This program is now meeting in-person in the Dutcher Community Room. Please register through our online calendar for each session.

Each session will address a different topic relevant to mindfulness meditation. You will receive support for cultivating mindfulness skills both "on and off the cushion" and applying those skills to meeting life’s challenges, to respond wisely instead of reactively. You’ll learn strategies to awaken to mindfulness and compassion when you’re in the thick of difficulty and to dramatically shift the experience of your life, the people in it, and the world itself. Each class will include instruction, a guided practice exercise, question and answer discussion, and follow-up resources.

Susan Meyer has been practicing mindfulness meditation for more than 25 years. She has received mindfulness meditation teacher training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Her meditation practice has been her rock during the coronavirus pandemic, and she is passionate about guiding others to experience the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
