CONTEMPORARY OP ART: 11/15/24
Inspired by advances in the science of sight, artists in the 1960s created an art movement called op art. This movement is all about tricking the eye by creating illusions such as movement, vibration or advancing/receding imagery within artwork. We will explore and create our own works within the op art style by investigating art concepts such as positive/negative space, value, scale, line and complimentary colors.
