MONSTERS! / Drawing, Watercolor, Acrylic, Mixed Media
Illustrators such as Dr. Seuss and Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are) combine organic shapes and line work with bright colors and textures to create striking monster-like characters. In this series, we will utilize various drawing and watercolor and acrylic techniques to explore character design and illustrate our own monsters, as well as finishing with a unique piece on canvas. Art vocabulary, elements, and principles will be incorporated richly in the experience.
