About this event
On March 16 the Saratoga Springs Firefighters hockey team will be hosting the Worcester Firefighters hockey team in a benefit game to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Doors will open at 10:00am with puckdrop scheduled for 11:00am. Donations will be accepted at the door for admission. The Saratoga Springs Firefighters will also be wearing special St. Patrick's Day theme jerseys during that game that will be auctioned off during the game in a silent auction with all money raised going to the overall donation.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a chairty organization with the sole purpose of raising money to assist kids who are currently under going cancer treatment and they provide money for research of treatment to childhood cancers, and hopefully one day a cure.
This event is in partnership with Kings Tavern and The Saratoga City Tavern. After the game everyone is invited to join both teams at Kings Tavern to begin St. Patrick's Day early and to celebrate a sucessful event raising money for a truly great cause.
