About this event

Visit The Hyde for the return of our annual community celebration!

Engage with art, learn from an expert, listen to live music, picnic on the lawn, and create your own artwork!

Join us as we celebrate our premier summer exhibitions with complimentary Museum admission for all. From 10 am to 2 pm, food will be available for purchase from our friends at Stewarts Ice Cream and other local vendors. Live music will be provided by Drank the Gold from 12 pm to 2 pm. 

Schedule of Events:

  • 10:00 am - Museum Open
  • 10 am – 4 pm - Upstate Model Railroaders Train Layout
  • 10 am – 4 pm - Hyde House and Special Exhibitions Open 
  • 10:30 am - Community Mural Unveiling
  • 11 am – 2 pm - Art Activities 
    • Community Soundscape 
    • Sidewalk Chalk 
    • Create A Surreal Creature 
    • Surrealism Interactive Photo Booth
  • 1 pm – 2 pm - Yoga With Cat 
  • 1 pm – 3 pm - Museum Tours (Hyde House & Special Exhibitions)
