About this event
Join us for a historic tour of Rogers Island under the rising February Moon!
As we tour the Island, our knowledgeable tour guide will tell the of Island’s history and its inhabitants, explain its importance in early American history, and describe the important archaeological excavations conducted by Dr. David Starbuck.
We’ll stop for a “warm-up” at one of the Island’s picnic tables with a view of the Hudson River where members of “Rogers Rangers” will answer questions about life on the island. Snacks and local beverages will be provided as we gather around a campfire. Warmed and refreshed, we’ll finish the tour before heading back to Visitors Center under the light of the rising moon.
Pre-registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome. In the event of postponement, it will be posted on the website, social media, and those who have registered will be notified. “Raindate” will be March 15, 2025.
$10 per person. Children under 12 free. For more information or to register please visit our website.
