It’s easy to take a day trip to New York City from Saratoga Springs. With an Amtrak station located right in downtown Saratoga Springs at 26 Station Lane, stealing off to the Big Apple for the afternoon is just a ticket away.  We recommend making this day trip on a weekend when the Amtrak station is open late. And those interested in driving to NYC can simply head South on the Northway. It’s nearly a straight shot to the City and less than a four-hour drive, depending on traffic.
