\nSARATOGA SPRINGS – In an intimate listening room that combines the refinement of a concert hall with the comfort of a living room, Caffe Lena is devoting the 1st Tuesday of each month to America’s most original contribution to the musical palate, JAZZ. She’s an international touring\/recording artist, with performances ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Blue Note (NYC and Japan), and numerous albums on major jazz labels (Concord Records, DMP, Capri and Red Baron, among others). Her groundbreaking Jazz Flute Big Band, developed over the past 14 years, released their debut CD in 2013, Game Changer (Capri Records). The album hit the TOP 10 on the US Jazz Charts for six straight weeks. <\/p>\n
Ryerson has recorded and\/or performed with Red Rodney, Roy Haynes, Kenny Barron, Stephane Grappelli, Joe Beck, Wynton Marsalis, Julius Baker and Luciano Pavarotti.
