Owners Denise and Erika recently purchased a building on the corner of Beekman and Ash Street in downtown Saratoga Springs. With construction underway, the Plum + Crimson staff has been busy preparing for the new space, using the jewel tone trend as our main inspiration. Lots of deeply saturated bright colors and bold patterns can be expected. The beautiful colors not only make for happy cheerful environments in the home but in the work environment also. If bold prints aren\u2019t your style, any of the jewel tones work great as solids with the clean simple lines of the current home furnishings styles in the market today. <\/p>\n“But remember – as with any trend, only invest in it in a big way if you absolutely love it.” Jessica noted. “Don\u2019t design your home around a trend just because it\u2019s popular this year. If it\u2019s not for you, you can follow it in small doses, a vase here and a pillow there.
