SARATOGA SPRINGS – The lesson is clear. Change is not only coming, it is here.
Though much work remains to be done, and while it is evident that change often has to swim against the tide of our national “leadership” to achieve a world that is free from domestic violence and sexual assault – we do not wait for them. We make this commitment. and we make it locally – every day.
And we gather, as we did on Thursday, March 28, at Prime at Saratoga National, in support of Wellspring’s efforts, and to salute those who have led the way, by their example:
– The Shenendehowa Boys Track and Field Team – Kyle Gregor, Alex Hislop, Greg Langone, Jaran Meyer, and Colin Tower – led by Coach Jason P. Burlingame
– Chief Gregory Veitch – The Saratoga Springs Police Department
Those commitments were reflected and amplified by the many supporters in attendance tonight.
They can see the coming Sea Change – off in the distance still, perhaps – but in sight.
They’ll celebrate tonight, and then redouble their efforts to see change happen.
