Maple Avenue Middle School Parents and Well-wishers Come Together For A Great Evening!
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Meet the practical, and local application of the principle: “No Child Left Behind.”
Such was the case on Saturday evening, March 2, as people partied for the cause of assuring that All Eighth Graders and their Chaperones will be able to travel to our Nation’s Capital, at an event called “Rockin’ the Road to D.C.” at Saratoga National Golf Club. Attendees rocked out indeed – to a great musical pairing of BOTH Rich Ortiz and Soul Session featuring Garland Nelson.
They feasted on a terrific array of cuisine provided by leading restaurants such as Salt + Char, Prime at Saratoga Nartional, Druthers, Hattie’s and Flatbread Social…
… and dug deep to bid on several choice silent auction items.
What has to be remembered most of all was that this was a brand-new event, created from scratch. Kudos to all associated with this effort, and it says here that I believe you have an annual thing here if you want it. Enjoy the gallery.
