Savory Pantry, SaratogaArtsFest Share the Love (and Chocolate) with You Friday!
SARATOGA SPRINGS – The public is invited to enjoy Cupid’s favorite ingredient – chocolate – which will be displayed and savored in all its many forms at a FREE gathering next Friday evening, February 8, from 5:30 to 8 pm, as Savory Pantry (486 Broadway) and SaratogaArtsFest combine forces on a pre-Valentines day gourmet sampling and shopping extravaganza – entitled “Share the Love… and the Chocolate.’ 20 percent of the evening’s sales will benefit SaratogaArtsFest, which will help them continue to provide free interactive entertainment experiences throughout the year.
There will be decadent chocolate treats to sample from Made by Mark Catering, Saratoga Chocolate Co., and other providers. By the Bottle Shop (11 Spring Street) will be stopping at Savory Pantry to educate attendees about the best small batch liquors to pair with chocolate, and Savory’s all-star bartending squad will be on-hand to whip you up their legendary and delicious Chocolate Martini!
Ellen Beal, Chair of the Board of Directors for SaratogaArtsFest noted “We’re thrilled to be partnering once again with our good friends–Keeley DeSalvo and her team at The Savory Pantry — to present ‘Share the Love .. and the Chocolate,’ a chocolate tasting cocktail party to benefit SaratogaArtsFest. We hope everyone comes on February 8, samples the decadent treats and tasty cocktails, and lets the folks at The Savory Pantry help them select the perfect gift for Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day! Twenty percent of all sales between 5:30 and 8 pm benefit SaratogaArtsFest’s amazing 2019 line up of free, culturally diverse, distinctive arts experiences!”
With all the variety of chocolate goodies available, it is advised that you allow extra time to sample on Friday. Enjoy!
