Just Under $40,000 Raised at Annual Snow Ball
SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Snow Ball – an annual tradition hosted by The Flower and Fruit Mission to benefit maternity unit and women’s health services at Saratoga Hospital, was held at the Canfield Casino on Saturday evening, December 1. “I am happy to report the Event was a complete sellout!” Noted Event Publicity Chair Kristie Roohan. Kudos to the entire Flower and Fruit team – as their combined efforts raised just under $40,000 on this one night!
The Flower and Fruit Mission was founded in 1904. Current President Susan Halstead commented on this year’s Snow Ball: ” “Oh, what a night!” If you missed it, you missed a truly magical evening!
“The Snow Ball at The Canfield Casino last evening was absolutely brilliant!” Susan said. “The venue was breathtakingly beautiful, the band (The Accents) was perhaps the best ever, the food was delicious, and guests were dressed to impress in elegant gowns and crisp tuxedos!”
The photographer for the elegant and crisp photos you are about to see was Colleen Carlson, who we would like to heartily thank for a job well done! Colleen, in turn, has great and deserved praise for the food and beverage team at Saratoga Casino Hotel, in her capacity as Director of Sales:
Our Food and Beverage team did an amazing job,” Colleen said. “This was only the second off-site catering event for us and the team hit it out of the park. The food was outstanding and the servers and bartenders were fantastic. Whatever I sell they can execute with ease – I’m very fortunate.”
And, as you will see, we are fortunate to have “Colleen on the Scene” to bring these images to you. Hey, it’s snowing! Enjoy the gallery.
