SARATOGA SPRINGS – Last week, Saratoga Independent School (SIS) celebrated the holiday with their annual Thanksgiving Feast. The students prepared food, created decorations, and invited members of the Saratoga community to join them to share a delicious meal on the SIS campus.
Students invited members of the local police and fire departments, school bus drivers, local politicians, and members of local businesses and organizations. This year’s feast was postponed once, due to the early season snow storm, but the rescheduled event was wonderful nonetheless. The Thanksgiving Feast is just one example of how Saratoga Independent School celebrates and values both their school community and the surrounding Saratoga community. The school and students are thankful to all who attended and helped make it a memorable day on campus. SIS is already looking forward to next year’s feast!
