Full Bar Now Available with Specialty Cocktails Featuring Local Distilleries
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Those of you who know me, know I love this place.
Dizzy Chicken (102 Congress St.) has been one of my “go to” places since it opened. At least once a week for dinner, and once or twice a week I order delivery (518.583.4099 – see their menu including their weekly specials HERE) to my office. The wood fired rotisserie/smoker puts delicious layers of flavor onto ribs, brisket, and, of course, chicken.
The menu has always featured a choice selection of craft beers, local and worldwide, and wine. Now that there is a full bar menu, you have every reason to venture just a bit off Broadway to enjoy their warm, comfortable ambiance. With the addition of a full bar to the mix, you now have no reason to deny yourself all this wood fired goodness.
Dizzy Chicken’s bar features all the name brands you could want, and their cocktail menu features three special signature drinks, two of which highlight local distilleries.
A delicious one to try is Dizzy’s Smoked Manhattan, in which Lake George Distillery’s Bourbon is paired with sweet Vermouth that has been placed in the smoker for about an hour, allowed to cool and is served to you with bitters and, of course, a Maraschino Cherry. I asked them to serve me one with regular sweet Vermouth, and then one with the smoked version. There truly was an extra layer of flavor – the smoky flavor was evident, and the original sweetness was retained. Ahhh, I love this kind of research!
Margarita lovers will enjoy their favorite rocks/salt/up options as Dizzy Chicken features Saratoga Springs’ own One With Life Tequila…
… and Moscow Mule fans will delight in having their favorite drink served in authentic Tito’s copper mugs, featuring of course, the quintessential micro-distilled vodka handmade in Austin, TX, and legendary world-wide.
As the wood fired rotisserie lends extra flavor to Dizzy Chicken’s food offerings, their new cocktail menu offers an extra layer of enjoyment to your meals! Designated drivers will certainly appreciate that there are 15 off-street parking spaces, conveniently located right behind the restaurant. And they are hardly denying themselves; not when they get to eat food like this…
My “go-to” place is now my “go-to-more” place. For more information, including a link to online ordering, visit DizzyChickenRotisserie.com.
