Fifteenth Annual Rebuilding Together Saratoga County Annual Dinner – October 11
SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Hall of Springs was aglow as people celebrated the real, tangible achievements brought about by volunteerism and neighbors helping neighbors, at the 15th Annual Dinner for Rebuilding Together Saratoga County.
How tangible? Consider this statement: “In the 15 years since its founding, Rebuilding Together Saratoga County has renovated and revitalized 973 homes and 85 nonprofit centers with the help of more than 9,300 volunteers who have dedicated over 56,500 hours of their time, bringing hope and renewed pride to homeowners in need throughout Saratoga County.”

During the dinner program, Rebuilding Together Saratoga County recognized Tom and Anita Harris, their 2018 Volunteers of the Year, and Doug Ford of Curtis Lumber, who was cited as their 2018 Community Partner. The attendees also heard from Susan Cleary, the daughter of a World War II Veteran homeowner they helped this year, who described the impact of the repairs to her father’s ability to continue to age-in-place.
All around, what people saw, heard and felt was the impact and result of their hard work and contributions. Neighbors rebuilding neighbors. Enjoy the gallery.
