Courtyard Will be Rockin’; The Giving Circle to Receive Proceeds
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Since 1843 – 1843! The Inn at Saratoga (231 Broadway) has been providing a unique and independently distinctive brand of hospitality to travelers from all over the world. On Sunday, October 21, from 5 pm on, you can help them blow out a ton of candles by attending their 175th birthday celebration.
And they are doing it in style – once again procuring the services of the legendary Dick Solberg and The Sun Mountain Band, along with a host of all-stars to sit in (picture Carter Family, North Country style and you’ll get the idea) including Tim Wechgelaer, Kevin Maul, Peggy Lecuyer and Drank the Gold, as well as a few surprise sit-ins to be sure. Also performing will be Doun Doun Ba – who will provide Music from Guinea, West Africa.
But there will be more than just great music. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Giving Circle to help them rebuild the Koi Koi house for deaf, and disabled children in Africa. Visit this WEBPAGE for more information about this amazing and important project! Lite fare will be served, and there will be a cash bar and a silent auction.
And, if you want to make a night of it, overnight accommodations are available at the Inn for a discounted rate of $115 per night with the purchase of a ticket.
Tickets are $35 at the door, or you can reserve admissions and rooms by calling 518-583-1890 x 0.
