SARATOGA SPRINGS – A milestone celebrated – and, perhaps a new annual tradition established. All on one glorious night – Sunday, October 21.
The Inn at Saratoga (on a remarkably warm and well-heated patio,) celebrated its 175th Anniversary in style on a brisk evening. Reading tea leaves, it says here that you won’t have to wait long for another. Like maybe 176…The Inn at Saratoga staff certainly were enthused enough about the prospect of an annual birthday party here. Three of them, independently, at various points of the evening expressed such to me.
Based on what I saw, I heartily support the concept. As I bet most of tonight’s attendees will give it a thumbs up as well.
You had a lineup that featured an exclusive return to Saratoga Springs by Dick Solberg + the Sun Mountain Band; as well as great performances by Inn regulars Drank the Gold and Tim Wechgelaer; among other All-stars. The beneficiary of tonight’s festivities was The Giving Circle, and raised over $3,000 to go towards the rebuilding of the Koi Koi house in Uganda. To learn more about this project, click HERE.
