Project Lift University Soars Again
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Consistency counts. And for over 30 years, Project Lift University has been there.
Operated by Franklin Community Center, Project Lift is a free after-school prevention program that is in place in all six elementary schools in the Saratoga Springs School district. Project Lift serves our youth at its most critical, most formative juncture: Grades one through five. Among the other skills covered with the children are positive social and communication skills, good sportsmanship, hygiene, manners and making good choices.
For those of you who like concrete facts and stats, snack on a few of these:
Those who came to celebrate and donate on Thursday evening, September 27, at Longfellows Restaurant were treated to the unveiling of an uplifting video produced by Super Source Media, Inc.; entertainment by J Yager, silent and live auctions, and fantastic food and beverages. They also left with the feeling that they were making a difference – right here in zip code 12866!
Add it up, and you saw a lot of happy smiles – enjoy the gallery.
