SARATOGA SPRINGS – The fourth and final Monday (August 27) SPAC on Stage performance was by Montreal-based / born in Chad H’SAO. They dazzled and delighted another SRO crowd that enjoyed the unique perspective of sharing the stage with the performers.
There have been many programming innovations and ambiance enhancements at SPAC over the last two seasons – coinciding with Elizabeth Sobol becoming President and CEO of SPAC. To me, this is the most dramatic and stunning of the bunch. And, apparently, I am not alone – each of the eight SPAC on Stage performances over the past two years have been sellouts. I advocate you make every effort to attend at least one of the 2019 series.
Hey, only 48 weeks until SPAC on Stage is back! In the meantime, enjoy this gallery.
GALLERY: SPAC on Stage – H’SAO
H’SAO is known for its unique blend of modern sound and traditional African musical influences. H’SAO has traveled the world, delivering electrifying performances, launching three innovative albums and, most of all, developing a musical signature that spans several genres and thus transcends the “world music” category. Onstage, the band sets itself apart through energetic performances, punctuated by catchy choreography and warm interactions with audiences.
