New ‘Scoop Club’; Improved Milk Club Announced
SARATOGA SPRINGS- Fresh off the successful launch of Civility Ice Cream – a yummy combo of sweet, smooth vanilla ice cream with salty caramel swirls, and no nuts – and a popular half-price promo (that continues through today (Sunday, August 26), Stewart’s Shops took a brief break from all this “Kum-by-ya” to encourage their patrons to battle each other at the Saratoga Race Course, as Philly Vanilla was consumed with great speed and technique at the 13th Annual Ice Cream Eating Contest – held on Wednesday, August 22nd.
In case you missed the action, Chad O’Hara from B-95 did a superb job of calling the ferentic spooning. The challenge: down a pint of Philly Vanilla as fast as you can.

Scoop De Jour: New Scoop Club; Improved Milk Club on Tap!
Also, on Friday, August 24, Stewart’s Shops announced an all new ‘Scoop Club’ – more great news for ice cream fans.
The Scoop Club is available for all Stewart’s Shops customers. When a customer joins the club, they receive a Scoop Club Card. With every ice cream purchase, the customer will receive one punch. When they purchase any ten items at the cone counter, they will receive one free. All menu items are included and receive one punch and any item can be received as redemption. This program excludes all pre-packaged ice cream such as pints, half gallons, dip boxes, and MYO Sundae kits. The Scoop Club Card can be earned and redeemed at any shop.
Gary Dake, President of Stewart’s Shops, said, “We are so excited to introduce the new Scoop Club to our ice cream customers. You get rewarded for eating more ice cream, what’s better than that?”
And the Milk Club Card is also new and improved. After many customer requests, the Milk Club Card will now be a universal card and can be accepted in all Stewart’s Shops. Those familiar with the program won’t see any changes other than their card can now be used in all Stewart’s Shops. With the purchase of ten half gallons, the customer will receive one free. A gallon of milk will receive two punches and all half gallon milk, and half gallon Refreshers are eligible for a punch on the club card.
Both the Scoop Club Cards and the new universal Milk Club Cards will be available in all Stewart’s Shops beginning on Monday, August 27th.
