HALFMOON – Here’s the scoop….
Yes, yes – our friends at Mohawk Honda, the Capital District’s number one volume Honda dealer,* will sponsor two hours of free ice cream at Hayner’s Food + Ice Cream in celebration of National Ice Cream Day.
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony to acknowledge Hayner’s 20th Anniversary and the completion of recent renovations.

Sunday, July 15
1:30 to 2 p.m. – ribbon-cutting ceremony
2 to 4 p.m. – free ice cream**

Hayner’s Food + Ice Cream

Hayner’s Food + Ice Cream is located on the Hayner Family Farm, in Halfmoon; and is owned and operated by Craig and Carolyn Hayner. Craig and Carolyn were honored in 2001 as entrepreneurs of the year by the Southern Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. Craig and Carolyn established the food and ice cream business in 1998, building off the longstanding farm stand business started by Craig’s parents, Harvey and Carol Hayner.
For six generations, the Hayner family has proudly produced and served quality products. From milk, to sweet corn and pumpkins, to various foods and of course…ice cream! In addition, the Hayner Family has been long active in supporting in their community in various ways. Craig’s brothers, Ken and Norm, are also entrepreneurs, and own and operate the Hayner Brothers Sports Barn, Baseball and Softball Academy. The Hayners are very proud to be celebrating 20 years in business and are grateful for their customers and employees who have made this milestone possible.
