It’s A Big Tent, And All Minglers Are Welcome

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Eighth Annual Music + Mingling Gala to benefit the Saratoga Senior Center did exactly what the previous seven did so well: It resoundingly rang the bell and threw down a massive welcome mat. This kickoff to the Saratoga season occurred on Thursday, May 31, at the Saratoga Polo Fields.
If the attendance, as well as the observed attendees’ happiness on this evening is any indication, we are in for another wild ride. So saddle up!
Before we get to the Gallery though, I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the Honorary Chairs: Vincent and Patty Riggi. Patty had to leave her own party this evening very early because she was going to be a grandma! By this time, all is well with mother and child, but it occurred to me as I was shooting these photos, that this might be the first time she sees some of these scenes… so, with that in mind, I’d like to dedicate this gallery to Patty and Vince: You brought the party to us through your generosity on several occasions, including tonight; now we bring the party to you!
