The American Cancer Society’s Red, White and Blue Party – Friday, June 29, 2018
SARATOGA SPRINGS – After nightfall, the ground was set aglow by Joysticks of remembrance and hope…
Later that evening, a counter-salute from the skies raised all eyes upward from the ground…
Before all of this, as well as in between, and for a good deal of time after, a large gathering dined, danced and celebrated on the first emphatically ‘Summer with a capital S’ evening of the year – Friday, June 29, at Saratoga National, for The American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Red, White and Blue Party. In particular, these were the event’s special honorees:
Rising Star Award: Peter Gannon
Hero of Hope Award: Michael Anson
But long, long before all the hope, remembrance and joy – a plan was refined and executed – as a team went to work. Kudos to Lizzie Hunter once again, for putting together a powerhouse group of planners that (also) once again had all bases covered, and added new nuances (like the wheel spin that could net you a wheelbarrow of booze!) to keep things interesting. And kudos to all on this committee, as well as the many volunteers that make this a major event on the summer calendar:
Event Planning Committee:
Kayla Lucier, Spencer Bassette, Molly Bibisi, Emily Margaret Tommie Burch, Sam Burrington, Katie Carson, Lauren Childs, Nicole Marie, Brit Drahos, Selena Dutcher, Maritza Figliozzi, Andrew Figliozzi, Zak Fluster, Aaron Hahn, Becky Kendall, Jessica Kerley, Melissa Lomaestro, Bill Perry, Elizabeth Prairie, Kelly Lynn, Lizzie Schlegel, Julia Sirianni, Matt Smith, Kristin Terebesi, Amanda Troutman, Christian Tychostup, Steve Vadney, Jaime Kazlo Watson, Aspen Witt, Ali Witz and Samantha Wright.
They put all in place to assure your happy face!
