HATTIE’S™ Expands Annual Memorial Day Crawfish Festival
SARATOGA SPRINGS Hattie’s™ Restaurant located at 45 Phila Street will be holding its Annual Crawfish Festival on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th.
Hattie’s has announced a new expanded time this year for Hattie’s Crawfish festival: 11 am-8 pm. “We’re continuing it all day and into the night”, states owner Beth Alexander. Expanded music as well: Garland Nelson “Soulist” will once again provide entertainment in Hattie’s™ courtyard from 11 am-4 pm then Peter Davis and The Ragtime Stompers will take the stage from 4-7 pm.
This years offerings will include: Fresh crawfish by the pound, Hattie’s™ famous fried chicken, sausage and okra gumbo and peel and eat shrimp. Grab a seat at Hattie’s newly designed bar, and be served Draft beers, Mojitos and Hurricanes. The event is open to the public and all ages are welcome.
“We look forward to this day every year,” says Hattie’s™ chef and owner Jasper Alexander. Alexander has the crawfish flown in fresh from a Louisiana company he has been doing business with for years. “They have the freshest product and are wonderful to work with. They love that we do this event “up North.”
