The Lodge Awakens for Scholars on Kentucky Derby Day

SARATOGA SPRINGS – A classic becomes a Classic because of its demeanor.
From day one.
People often overvalue longevity alone . But a classic becomes a Classic early on. It sets the tone from the beginning – everything in place; everything top shelf. And in abundance.
Such was the case on Saturday, May 5 – as the Historic lodge on the grounds of Saratoga Casino came alive to benefit Saratoga Sponsor a Scholar. Those in attendance were treated to an open buffet, an open bar (sponsored by Saratoga Eagle,) the convenience of being able to bet on your favorite horse and watch it in a timeless, landmark setting. And let us not forget – spectacular weather!
Add it all up and you have a Classic, my friends. A Classic that puts its best foot forward, each time out of the gate.
The sellout crowd in attendance didn’t have to be told they picked a winner. They felt it – all afternoon.
