Grand Opening November 17 With Local Clients Already in Full Flower

SARATOGA SPRINGS – You have to recognize the strategy first. Before you appreciate it. And then transfer the concept to your eyeballs, dear reader.
But here’s a stab at it – don’t wait to open your doors to start building a business. To get customers.
Common sense says that this would be a favorable situation. Yet. so often, people exhibit very little in the way of common sense when it comes to opening a retail business.
But in the case of Simply Sidney, which ‘opened’ with a mega-flourish last Friday, November 17 – you have a lot of advance work in place for some time, and not just making sure that everything is feng shui so… that of course, is a given.
But dig a little into the roots of the plant, if you will, and you will see many existing clients among the celebrants at 268 Broadway. These included Nicole Sheeler Di Palermo, President of the SPAC Action Council reading a letter from SPAC CEO Elizabeth Sobol, on behalf of work performed by Sidney to make SPAC’s Ballet Gala distinctive. Other guests had received similar for several high-profile weddings and events. So this wasn’t a new business opening – hoping to make its mark.
No, this celebration was more about planting an emphatic flag in fertile soil that had been plowed for some time.
Which is how Simply Sidney Floral Design and Home Accents opened its doors, and bloomed large in this market on day one.
