SARATOGA SPRINGS – On Sunday, November 19,The New York Sire Stakes will be hosting a one-day seminar at the Saratoga Hotel and Casino for new and prospective Standardbred horse owners. The day will include a tour of the Saratoga Harness Backstretch, panel discussions from the experts, live racing, a cocktail reception, awards banquet and so much more. Panel discussions will cover a variety of topics, including types of ownership, selecting a trainer, training and vet bills, post racing career care and more. Here is the complete day’s schedule:
Following the seminar program, attendees are invited to participate in an afternoon of live racing at the harness track and attend the annual banquet honoring horses, drivers, trainers, owners, and breeders in this year’s New York Sire Stakes programs.
