SARATOGA SPRINGS – Meet a photojournalist’s dream gig.
After enjoying the happy hour menu at Chianti which we profiled HERE with a terrific special friend, I waltzed down Broadway and into Congress Park at dusk, stopping to shoot the iconic product of the years of good works that were going on at The Canfield Casino presently:
You feel the Spirit of Life, though it is receding into darkness for the evening. Resplendent in it’s golden accents. No light except for my flash. As it was then. As it is today. This is what the TRASK Art Show + Sale makes possible through its proceeds. Restoration is a full-time gig in this historic town, and so they gather again on this evening, both to celebrate past accomplishments and strive for a future that includes reverence to our unique history.
The Canfield Casino is unquestionably, the best evening photo venue that can possibly be. Throw in some swanky, friendly folks, and there you have a gallery. Enjoy!
