Songwriter Offers Free New Album Download… Just Ask!
SARATOGA SPRINGS — The incredibly prolific songwriter Jeff Brisbin has decided that it’s too long to wait for Christmas, so he’s starting to give out his presents early!
It’s quite simple: During the month of September, while supplies last, visit Jeff at any one of his gigs (all of which appear to be no cover charge), introduce yourself during his breaks, and ask for one of his cards – good for a download (via CD Baby) of his recently released album “Foreverly”. And you won’t have to search hard for him. Starting tomorrow, Jeff will have 11 gigs throughout our region in the balance of the month of September – and that doesn’t include a wedding and a few private gigs. Hence, the word prolific (see below for the schedule).
Jeff wrote about Foreverly:
I’ve been “writing” songs since I was maybe 5 or 6 years old.
I suppose you’d call it “making them up” when you’re a little boy, through the years my songs come to me in different ways.
The Album “Foreverly” has Pop songs … Rockers … Ballads … there’s even a bluesy/New Orleans/Dixielandish Trombone driven Tune. Somebody said to me that it sounds like something Paul McCartney might have written.
You will hear threads and echoes of the Music I’ve loved all of my life on this Album.
