Guest Bartenders, Generous Guests at a Great Place
SARATOGA SPRINGS – It all comes down to charm.
The premise behind this is: People buy from people they like. And by extension to the hospitality industry, people tip who they like. And people like these guys and gals:
They like Lisa Munter, Christianne Smith Potts, Dennis Brobston, Stephanie Collins, Stephen Cutting Miller, Barry Hendrickson and Kathy Henry. They like ’em all.
And it showed, showed strong – at the Third Annual Franklin Guest Bartender Night at Harvey’s (14 Phila Street), on Tuesday, August 22. This dream team, drawn from the fabric of the community, reversed roles and went from drink catchers to drink ‘pitchers’ with verve, style and yes charm…
And the thick thick crowd dug deep, deep, deep – to the tune of $3,750 per hour! $7,500 to support the programs and services of Franklin Community Center (FCC).
This “deep diggage” was composed of 20 percent of the proceeds chipped in by Harvey’s on top of 100 percent of the guest bartenders’ tips. Kudos to all.
Enough nuts and bolts – let’s get to the party!
