Day Resort to Offer Saratoga Track-Goers Spa Therapy, Giveaways and More to Benefit Local Charities
Spa Mirbeau, a new day resort concept to be launched this fall at Crossgates Mall in Albany by the renowned Mirbeau Hospitality Services, will offer women and men a sampling of mini spa services and giveaways at multiple Saratoga Race Course events this horseracing season to benefit charitable causes.
On Opening Day, Friday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spa Mirbeau is providing select spa services on the Jockey Silks Porch. Mini services will include neck, back and hand chair massages, and will be performed in exchange for a donation using the track’s adjacent Community Booth to benefit ReRun Thoroughbred Adoption Services, a Capital Region charitable organization dedicated to finding homes for retired racehorses.
“We encourage track-goers to take time to sample select spa services offered by Spa Mirbeau on designated days at Saratoga Race Course throughout the summer,” said Jonathan Dal Pos, partner at Mirbeau Hospitality Services. This will include Travers Day, August 26, and others. “We look forward to opening in Albany this fall and are proud to be able to give back to the community in such a meaningful way.”
Another date is note is Thursday, August 10. Spa Mirbeau will sponsor the Sizzling Hot Pink Saratoga Hat Luncheon to be located at the Rail Pavilion. Four spa packages valued between $100 and $500 will be offered as guest amenities at the luncheon. One hundred percent of all the events’ proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
