‘Karma Ride’ at Saratoga Cycling Studio sends JHFH some Good Vibes, Fun and Funds
SARATOGA SPRINGS – An early Saturday morning, July 8, saw healthy people with big hearts doing good for themselves while in the process of doing good for others.
Welcome to the “Karma Ride,” in which participants showed up to the cool, purple, mirrored Saratoga Cycling Studio (SCS) at 422 Broadway (see their website) for a 45-minute cycling session in support of Jake’s Help From Heaven (JHFH – visit jakeshelpfromheaven.org). The dozen or so early risers for the 8:15 am class contributed “what they will” for this special class, which was led by one of SCS’ experienced instructors, Amanda.
SCS’ owner, Angela Amedio, is a returning entrant at the Sixth Annual Finest Fillies and Some Colts event on July 19 at Vapor Night Club.
I’ll send out some props and good vibes to class instructor Amanda, who effortlessly moved from MC and cheerleader of the group, to informing and making the class laugh, all while keeping in motion – varying cadences in time to the music. Everyone looked like they were having fun. Which is what doing good for yourself, by doing good for others, should be all about!
