Tenth Annual Cantina Kids Fun Run Kicks Off With ‘Cocktails For A Cause’ Event
SARATOGA SPRINGS – On your marks…
Get set…
PARTY!!!!
On Wednesday, May 25, an SRO gathering swelled Cantina Restaurant (430 Broadway) to capacity for a very special kickoff to the Tenth Annual Cantina Kids Fun Run, which, as always, benefits the Saratoga Hospital Foundations pediatric programs. The Fun Run itself will take place on Sunday, June 4 in Congress Park at 9 am – and it always a stunning spectacle to see.
But equally stunning is the amount of support that exists for Saratoga’s community hospital and it’s programs among the citizenry. Furthermore, the amount of good will generated monthly by Cantina’s commitment to the Hospital, and other local not-for-profits such as Jake’s Help From Heaven, Saratoga Children’s Museum, and many others via their ‘Cantina for a Cause’ program – for years, is almost incalculable. These events have become a cornerstone of our community – big, big kudos to Heath and Jeff Ames, and the staff at Cantina – it’s always a festive place – but on nights like this, they always seem to summon a higher energy level.
A nuclear fiesta, if you will…
