…To be Thankful You Live Here…
SARATOGA SPRINGS – A local asset is wall-to-wall smiles (and, apparently- cereal!) as our Franklin Community Center’s (FCC) Food Pantry (http://www.franklincommunitycenter.org/) celebrates and offers thanks to everyone for helping reach their $10,000 goal!
What made this achievement extra-delicious was the largesse of one anonymous donor, who recently wrote a check to push the pantry over the goal, according to FCC’s Development Director Jaime Williams. Celebrating and giving thanks are FCC Food Pantry Director Julie Slovic along with nieces Eva (L) and Celia (R) – Great smiles, one and all!
The FCC Food Pantry is open year-round, Monday-Wednesday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Thursday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., except on holidays. For more information, contact Julie at 587-9826 or Julie@franklincommunitycenter.org.
One thing that is clear to this reporter is – they are gonna need a lot of milk! And now, thanks to you, and Mr. or Ms. Mystery, they can go buy it… making this Today’s Reason…
